Counting Stars

It's a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach, and it's all clear. The way he cared so much for me when Peter Pan left me to die. "How'd you know?" He stares at the ground and runs his fingers through his damp hair, "because i remember what you told me when you died." I reach out and grab his hand in mine, "and what was that?" He squeezes my hand firmly, "you said that whenever I felt lonely to look up at the sky, and the biggest brightest star was you." A puzzled look crosses his face, "and when I look in your eyes, I don't just see one star, I see the universe."

Isla Greer is swept off her feet in her senior year, but her boyfriend dies tragically just before graduation, and it leaves her depressed. When she stares at the sky one night, a shadow takes her away from her suicidal thoughts, he takes her to Neverland. Slowly she begins to fall for the infamous Peter Pan, but he blocks her out. To Peter, loving others ends in certain death, but to Isla, it means recovery.
