Lynnette could feel the hot liquid pulsing. The tips of her fingers and her feet tingled. Confusion ticked in her mind, just like the time. But she just could not register that her step father had really tried to gut her.
The cut was there, and an abundant amount of blood. But the pain had yet to catch up to her.
What irked her the most was why he was just watching, and smiling. That god awful smile filled with joy and greed.
Her breathes became labored and painful. Her skin turning ashen, soon losing all feeling. She became numb, but she was perfectly aware.
Tiny black spots danced in her vision, seeming to celebrate her demise. They grew and grew and engulfed her vision and mind.
