Sapphire is just the average girl at school with a backstory she likes to keep secret. Life is routine for her until she meets Ruby. The popular baseball jock whom everyone loves. Ruby's life can get pretty exciting but nothing compares to the moment she met her Sapphire. But will Ruby's own secrets put them in danger? Btw I have my own unique take for how I'd see each of these characters in this story's universe. If you don't like it that's okay but I won't be changing my concept. Imagine Beach City. A normal city, normal people, normal society, a normal school. Or, at least, one can only assume so. Some might say that their school is abnormal because of the people in it. When we use the word "abnormal" to describe Beach City Middle School, we aren't lying. As gems, Pearl, Garnet, Amethyst, Steven, and all the others have a bit of a hard time living normal lives. Whether they're respected or picked on because of their appearance, they all manage to get through... Most of it. The crystal gems, trying to hide their secrets to avoid further investigation, Steven and Connie, trying to live life to the fullest, Lapis and Peridot, trying to uncover as many secrets as possible, and Jasper and her gang, trying to be the best and most loved- and feared. THIS STORY IS COMPLETED. (yayahhh) Okay, so I'm just... trying to write a fanfiction, okay? About Lapis Lazuli and Peridot and Jasper and... eh... what happened on that big hand-ship before the Crystal Gems crashed it. (This story ends near the end of the episode Jail Break) I'm keeping this child-friendly. None of what I consider cursing is in this book. And it's just friendship. And forgiveness. It might be a bit of a sad story, maybe... but anyway, it's not romantic love-stuff. And there might be a little violence because – y'know – Jasper's in the book. But not too bad. I try to keep the characters, well, in character, but I probably didn't succeed. Includes some of my own theories about Yellow Diamond and Homeworld; not everything in this story is canon.
