Amnesia (from Greek, meaning "forgetfulness"; from ἀ- (a-), meaning "without", and μνήσις (mnesis), meaning "memory"), also known as amnesic syndrome, is a deficit in memory caused by brain damage, disease, or psychological trauma.
Moon Ahreum is an orphan child. Her real mother, Moon Yeorum couldn't take care of her when the husband past away from an unknown reason. One night her mother decided to leave her for a better life, a life she will regret later on. She left her on the cold stairs to an orphan house. She didn't'even take a second glance to say goodbye to her own daughter, before leaving her with no trace behind. Except for a necklace, where she placed it around her daughter's neck.

The syndrome made her lost her ability to remember her past and her existence. This was a secret only herself and the doctor know about, but secrets can grow. But is the doctor lying to her or is she really risking her life to remember her past?
