So, you wouldn't think that two of the awesomest, most beautiful girls in your school were capable of murder, would you? Well you'd be wrong. I'd know for sure, because I did kill people. I still do. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a villain. I kill people who deserve it. Men who rape and hurt women, I slit their throats. People who abuse kids in anyway, I give them a shot to the head. People who murder others, lose their heads. They're bastards, and deserve far worse than what I give them. I give them a quick ending, while those despicable men get a fast and mostly painless way out. Some would say I'm a monster. I would say I'm an anti-hero. I started out as a hero, simply trapping these men for the courts to try. And then I watched as so, so many got off Scot free, even blaming the women who were abused. If justice will not be served by law, then I will take it into my own hands. My best friend agrees with me. She's been fighting this with me for as long as I remember us even knowing what to fight. Just Sammy and I. Rebecca and Sammy, always partners.

I share a glance with Sammy as we make our way to the door. She checks the list. "Well, it's us two and some guys. Samuel and Dakota?"

A soft warm breath teases my neck. "That would be us two." I turn to see the very same guys who I assume are a couple. The guy with the darker hair stands dangerously close to me, almost touching me. I take several steps back, my fingers twitching with the desire to create a knife to defend myself.

Sammy tosses her hair over her shoulder, distracting Dakota. She was playing a move she used at the bar. Strange for her to act in such a careless aloof way. Maybe he isn't gay like I assumed.
