"All I want are some healing enzymes from your wings," he pleaded. "I want to be healed." I frowned.

"Tough luck. I lost my wings. They're gone."

Doctor Carther frowned. Obviously he hadn't expected that. I turned to go when his desperate call stopped me in my tracks.

Later in the school semester, Ezra and Sabine are walking across the football field to get to their destination when suddenly, a football is coming straight towards Sabine but Ezra catches it with one hand.
