Valentine is your average thirteen year old boy. Born on Valentine's Day, hence his name, he's thirteen years old in his last year of middle school, having skipped the third grade. The kids at school say Valentine is a stupid druggy, but he's not- he's a straight A student in all advanced classes. He doesn't exactly try in school, he's just naturally smart.
     But the other rumors about him are true. He's been selling marijuana behind the school since sixth grade, to students as well as random dopes. He's known around town as the "grass kid." His prices are reasonable and his product is wonderful. At least, until he's caught.       Valentine isn't a stereotypical drug abuser, however. His dad isn't a deadbeat drunk, he's a successful lawyer, and although his father doesn't pay much attention to his son, he does in fact care about his well being. His parents divorced when he was at a young age, and it's affected him to the point of hatred for his father.
     However Valentine is going to have to set aside that hatred and find a way to work it out, because something big is spreading, and it's spreading fast. The sirens are wailing and the people are screaming. The roaming are coming.All Rights Reserved

Because that's what they do, save people. But only for a few days then they will go off again to find Sammy. Or as they thought. Because strangers become friends and as Lowell well knew; family doesn't end on blood, but it doesn't start there either, and one particular redneck is about to prove him that.

{s e a s o n 1 - 2} {t h e w a l k i n g d e a d} in the distance past the checkouts i spot a man roughly in his 40s sitting on a seat. he's slumped over, elbows resting on knees, his head hung low, shoulders rigid and unmoving; his short brown hair sticks to his forehead, sweat glistening under the bright lights of the mall, his chest is heaving like he's just ran a marathon and desperate for air. he glances up, eyes shooting across each individual figure rapidly, his eyebrows furrowed and cheeks flushed. his eyes keep dancing across each figure, looking at each one for just a second before bouncing to the next. soon enough his eyes catch mine, gaze locked onto me, no longer bouncing from person to person. he stares like he can see straight through me, like i'm not even here; my mouth dries, tongue suddenly heavy as a dart my eyes away before looking back at him again. he just stares. he looks ravenous.

What happens when these zombies begin to gain intelligence? Every living thing evolves and if it doesn't; it's not worthy of being called 'living'. So when the remaining of humanity remains unmoving, stagnant but the zombies keep growing in mass, intelligence, strength; living. Living on the bare minimum, working your back, seeing loved ones day every single day, hearing screams of help from all around you but knowing how you couldn't do anything. This is a world where surviving wasn't... surviving. Living hurts. This is a world where even horror die-hard fans would rather not be in. For you to live, you have to be insane. And thankfully for one of our characters, they've gone insane.
