"So that's it? You're just going to give up what we worked so hard to build together? For what? I thought you loved me?" He screamed. Tears were streaming down his face and his voice cracked with every question. It was killing me to see him breaking. "I can't do this right now. Can we please talk about this later. I just need some time to think." I said, weakly, looking down at my hands. "Think? Think about what? Is there someone else?" I could feel him looking at me harder now. I couldn't answer him and horrible realization sank into his eyes when I looked up at him. He looked like he was going to throw up. "Go." Was all he could choke out. He wasn't even looking at me any more. My heart was shattering as I stared at his shirt. "I said. GO!" He yelled the last word, causing me to jump back. I stumbled back and turn to face the door. I look back and he was staring at me. Our eyes met and, for a moment, everything felt right. His eyes dropped, my heart sank, and I turned back to the door. "Hey." He yelled, once my hand touched the door handle. My heart leaped and I turned back to face him. His eyes were back on me and he had a smirk on his face. "When you come back to your senses, I'll be here waiting for you." There was confidence in his voice, like he was 100 percent sure I was coming back to stand by his side. I smiled at him as he blew me a kiss. I turned back to the door, a tear slipping from my eye. I twisted the handle and swung the door open. I closed the door behind me and slid down the door. I sobbed. Head between knees, hands behind head, full body shaking sobs. It hurt how confident he was in my heart when I don't even know if my heart longs for him or one of his best friends. All Rights Reserved
