"I always dreamed someone would come and save me. If not from my parents, maybe they'd save me from myself," Marie admitted to him.
Marie Sorenson knew what they thought of her. She couldn't blame them really, she did fail her sister. Yet after everything Sang went through, she still landed on top. She's pretty, smart, and she has 9 guys who would do anything for her.
Marie knows what she thinks she see's in the mirror, a nobody. She keeps her head down. Her hair hangs around her face, hiding her shame. Hiding her secret.
She wants to change, she just doesn't know how. Marie's path is going to be hard, but if she reaches out, she might make it.
The Toma Team is trying to heal after Kayli left. They deal with the hurt in their own ways. But one by one a lone girl captures their attention and a lost member of their team finally comes home.
Don't let the idea of a story about Marie scare you off. This isn't canon Marie. Its not a story about her being a bitch to Sang. Its about what could be inside Marie, things she keeps hidden, choices that she can make. Be brave people, give her a shot.

This is a fanfiction based on C.L.Stone's Academy Series. I have no claim to them

AUTHOR'S NOTE: THIS STORY IS A MATURE READ WITH MULTIPLE PARTNERS. IF THIS BOTHERS YOU, DON'T READ THIS STORY. *FANFICTION OF CL STONE'S ACADEMY SERIES As a maid in the Governor's house, and occasional personal attendtant to Governor Sorenson's spoiled daughter Marie, Sang has learned the value of silence and invisibility. All she wants is to do her job without getting beaten or fired. In a moment of weakness, left alone in Marie Sorenson's room, she puts on one of the extravagant dresses in the wardrobe. As she is twirling in a daydream she is suddenly caught by the last people she thinks to see. The crew of the GhostBird are ruthless, cruel, vile, the epitome of evil and their mysterious Captain Blackbourne is worse. Or at least those are the rumors. And they wouldn't have it any other way. In reality they work for a mysterious organization that works to better the lives of the common people of the Carribeans and help those in need while trying to keep the pirate problem under control. After getting a tip about the corruption of Governor Sorenson they are sent on a mission: Kidnap the beloved and spoiled daughter and find a way to use her to bring her father under control. No one is looking forward to it, until they lay eyes on the twirling beauty in the daughter's room. Without even knowing it she quickly captivates the entire crew and then they find out they have the wrong girl. How can they complete their mission now? Will they let her stay? And what happens when an old enemy rears his head?

{Completed} A lost soul in a sea of anguish and confusion, Sang floats alone, and the treacherous waters around her are starting to consume her; she's beginning to sink. In fact, she's been slowly sinking further and further into those dark depths since she was a child--ever since the abuse began. Ever since her voice was stolen by her stepmother-a jealous, envious woman who wanted what Sang Sorenson had-what the evil woman hadn't: a voice like an angel. Sang's voice is gone, the only thing she ever truly cherished. And she's starting to drown in the waters that have been rising rampantly inside her chest, but can she be saved? Is there hope for a rescue boat? Can a group of nine handsome, loving, charismatic boys be the reason Sang Sorenson rises to the surface? Will they be her life jacket, or an anchor to drag her further into the profound depths below? Can the bird without a voice finally sing once again? ❤ This is an Academy fanfic. I don't own any of these characters. They are all creations of the amazing C.L. Stone, and they all belong to her. Though, you don't have to read 'The Academy' series to understand this book. It can definitely be read as a stand-alone. ❤ Warning! Be warned, there is mature content in this book (i.e. most likely sexual content, swearing, and abuse). So, if you're uncomfortable with that, then don't read this. Also, this book will get worse before it gets better. (It starts off pretty sad.) But there is a happy ending and LOTS of love! 😉😁
