Julia May Bradbury had a pretty messed up life. Her little sister Jamie was in the tantrum phase and she demanded attention. She almost never saw her father since he left to work at the military base in Paris, her mother was always busy with work; caring for two growing girls was hard, and on top of that Julia lost the spot on her soccer team. If it wasn't for her best friend Skye, her life might have taken an even darker turn.

When she goes to Paris to visit her Dad; strange events begin to happen. She discovers secrets meant to stay hidden. She wants to know who the graceful Edaline, and why part of the house is restricted.

" STOP!" The woman with the circlet ordered. " You have nowhere to go!" Huge body guards flanked on her both sides. There was nowhere to go. I took a step back, pebbles dropped into the rushing ocean. Our options were not good. I looked at the water and my head shot up.
" You have nowhere to run!" I looked at Skye and put the shell over Cassie's nose.
" NOO!" the woman screeched. We took a deep breath and jumped. We plummeted down to the icy water below. Our lives hanging in the balance.

!!!Undergoing Editing!!! *previously known as The Red Queen Effect* "It's strange what desires could make foolish people do. I'd never dreamed that I'd love somebody like you, And I never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you." ~ Wicked Game by Chris Isaak There were many times that I could remember hearing the stories about people falling in love or meeting their one true love. Stories that had allowed me to fantasize about meeting my true love, the one that fate had chosen for me. However, it seemed like it truly was never meant to be, according to my grandmother, "Love is a Queen's greatest weakness. Remember, my dear granddaughter, you are a Princess now but you will soon be a Queen who will rule with an iron fist and an empty heart." But was love truly a weakness? According to the stories that I have read and heard around the castle, love seemed to be something magical and incredible, especially if it was true love. So, how could someone determine it to be a weakness? It wasn't until I landed in Neverland that I had to find out the truth the hard way, in the most excruciating and heart-wrenching way possible. Yet, It was my fault after all, I decided to make a game out of it and someone else decided to use that to their advantage. If I was given the chance to change something from my past it would have been to prevent myself from all of the heartache that was to come. Maybe then I could have saved myself the trouble of having to rip out my own heart. But you know what they say, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." I am the daughter of the Evil Queen, the granddaughter of the former Queen of Hearts, there is no such thing as a happy ending for people like me. What a Wicked Game life plays. *Comments and votes are always welcomed. ** I do not own Once Upon A Time, only my characters Clara, Ravenna, Kingsley, and Flynn and any ideas for this story.
Days In The Sun by RocketGenie
12 parts Complete
Once upon a time in the hidden heart of France, a handsome young prince lived in a beautiful castle. Although he had everything his heart desired, the prince was selfish, spoiled, and unkind. He had an entire army of servants there to attend to his every need, most of which were there since his childhood. The prince nearly hated his staff, even when they'd done nothing wrong - and were only trying to meet his needs. One night, during one of the Prince's courting events - a special type of ball, where dozens of young woman would dress up and dance with the prince, in an attempt to win over his heart and become queen to the Kingdom - An uninvited guest arrived. It was a poor, shivering, elderly woman seeking shelter from the bitter winter storm. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince dismissed the woman. As a gift, the old woman offered the prince a single rose, but when he dismissed her again, the woman's outer appearance melted away. Only to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince begged for forgiveness, but it was too late - for she could see there was no love in his heart. The enchantress cursed the prince, transforming him into a hideous beast - and if he was unable to learn to love another, and earn their love in return by the time the last petal from the rose she offered had fallen, he would remain a beast forever. But the enchantress also placed the curse upon his innocent castle staff, who were transformed into antiques; suffering for the prince's mistake(s) in small, rusting, metallic bodies. Life was hard enough for the staff, but now - it was unbearable. ~ This story will go through the staff's struggles before, DURING, and after they were cursed. It will also fill plot holes and extend the ending of Beauty And The Beast. A majority of this story is a prequel, and will fall into a bit of a sequel as well, so I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

If you want, I'll pretend everything that happened between us was just a fleeting dream," Asher said, his voice strained as he gently took her hand. His fingers traced the outline of her wedding ring, lingering on it. "You've done so much for me. Can't I do this one thing for you?" he added softly. "If you want, you can sell it or throw it away. But please, don't ask for the wedding band back-the one you made me wear. I want to keep it... as a souvenir, Janette." His voice faltered as he turned his head away, wiping the tears that threatened to fall from his eyes. "Please," he whispered, almost desperately. "Go... before I change my mind and force you to stay with me forever," he said, his voice breaking as he stood up. Janette saw the tears he was trying to hide, and a pang of disappointment twisted in her heart. She knew-he was hurting just as much as she was. #Edited

"I don't like to think of myself as this kickass, badass Lara Croft, no. But I try not to be your typical every day Jane Doe. So I where does that leave me? In the middle, I guess. So there. I'm just your atypical- yet completely ordinary- girl with a bloody crown. Yeah, that has a nice ring to it." At 14 years of age, Joan Domshov thinks she has it all figured out- well, mostly that is. Though her ducks may not always be in a line, she's pretty confident that if she's made it 14 years then she can make it 14 more without the world caving in on her. Oh how one can dream. Exposed to a new world with which she shares a closer tie than she knew, Joan realizes there's more beyond anything she's used to. But change is good. Unless it comes in the form of an eerily charming yet minatory king from the other side of Edalirwen. When her brother is taken by the king who seems to have a personal vendetta against her family's namesake, Joan will travel to the other side of a world that is rumored to be folklore. Regardless, Joan is certain she can prevail. But as her confidence is shaken and her perception about who she truly is starts to diminish, she'll be left questioning the person she once thought she was. Smartmouthed, snarky, and clueless to her obstacles, Joan will figure out whether she is a girl with a tainted past or something else entirely.
