Book Two of The Familiar Hearts.
            
             War is on the horizon. The hunters grow in strength, aided by their hybrid allies and the witches are unprepared, dying by the dozens. Only few of the castors know the truth of the crusade of hunters and the counsel is at a standstill about what is needed. 
             
             Sabella's family is on the run from the hunters, and off to the Dragons Gorge to hide with her familiar's family. Tailed by her very possibly vengeful uncle and still limited with her magical abilities, the world seems a little overwhelming. Especially, when people and events from the past come to haunt the present.  
             
             Sabella must decide whether to take action into her own hands and defy the counsel or wait until the older witches decide, but by then it might be to late.
