"Holy guacamole..." I clutched my stomach. I knew I wasn't supposed to eat it. I mean, I'm lactose intolerant. But that lasagna looked so good. It was practically whispering my name. Now here I was, sitting on a toilet, facing the consequences of my actions. You can probably fill in the details. Let's just say... I was in deep shit. Literally. Outside the bathroom door, Winston knocked. "Miss Mercier?" "No." "Your mother is asking for you." "Tell her I died honorably." "I cannot." "You can if you believe in yourself." "I don't." I groaned and rested my forehead against the stall door. "Traitor." Outside, Winston resumed his post beside the restroom door. Today's just... not my day. Although... I wonder if there's any lasagna left. Anyway, I should probably introduce myself. My name is Anastacia Mercier, but everyone calls me Ana. Around school, I'm known as the "Pageant Princess." I'm seventeen years old. I've also been told... repeatedly... that I don't act my age. This is the story of how I fell in love. And it all started with lasagna.

1st book of Cursed series in continuation of Shivanya series "You should stop staring at me like I'm some monster," Dhruv said coldly. Taara replied looking into his eyes "Then stop behaving like one, Rawal sa (prince) " For the first time in years... he laughed. But Dhruv didn't fall for her because she was soft. He fell because she walked straight into his darkness without trembling. "I ruin everything I touch," he warned her while caressing her cheeks Taara looked him straight in the eyes. "Then maybe I was born to survive ruin. " What Taara didn't know was - Dhruv had already decided something terrifying. He believed she was the only one who could break his curse. And he was willing to destroy the entire kingdom to keep her beside him. They called him the shadow of the kingdom. A person who doesn't have any identity of his own. Who lives under shadow of someone else. Prince Dhruv - the second prince of mahawargarh. A widower. Most intelligent and interested only in politics . A feared warrior. And the father of a five-year-old daughter who barely smiled anymore. People whispered that something inside him had died the night his wife did. But no one knew his real secret. No one knew the prince locked himself behind closed doors every night, drowning in dangerous addictions to silence the demons in his head. No one knew his hands trembled from withdrawal before battles. No one knew he believed he was cursed. And then came Taara. A maid who was too fearless for her own good. Too confident to lower her eyes. Too brave to fear a broken prince. She was just a maid working in his kingdom not aware of the fact...that she is going to be the curse breaker for him. " I am not innocent at all my little moon " he replied while moving towards her with slow steps " I am cursed " he smirked. Highy mature content
