Guard Walls-Ashton Irwin A.U

Kayla Willows. A 19 year old high school drop out. Doing drugs and drinking her pain away has been her life for years now. In and out of orphanages until she was 18 because they kicked her out. She has been abused, physically and verbally buy everyone. Even her family. She has built her guard walls up high in hopes that no one will be able to hurt her again. She hasn't let one person in for awhile.

Ashton Irwin. The 21 year old heart-throb drummer in the band 5 Seconds of Summer. Ashton has dealt with his own kind of pain, especially because of the hate since the bands popularity kicked up a few years ago. Ashton meets Kayla at a club one night when he was out with the rest of the band. He sees her standing alone at the bar so he decides to go and chat with her.

"I couldn't help but notice you standing here alone, need some company?" Ashton asks her.
"Don't talk to me" Kayla says.
"And why is that love"
"Because your just gonna hurt me like everyone else has" Kayla says looking into his eyes. Ashton manages to notice the hint of pain in her voice and in her deep blue eyes. Kayla then walks out of the bar.
Ashton immediately feels the need to go after her. He feels like he needs to get to know her and find out more about the broken sounding girl. When Ashton finds her outside he asks her to not leave.
"And why is that pretty boy"
"Because I feel like I need to know more about you. Please, just five more minutes?"

Will Kayla let Ashton in, even just a little?
