UPDATE *I wrote this story 8 years ago (2025) in 2017! I was a teenager and had a storyline, but no clear vision of how to execute it. I downloaded Wattpad again as an adult and to my surprise found this story still sitting here unfinished. I'm determined to finish it even if it takes another 8 years.*

A girl finds herself in an asylum, and doesn't remember how she got there. The building is more like a hospital, but instead of treating you they lie, trick and torment you. All long-term memories have been forgotten and they are kept in rooms by themselves. Except Dakotah is different, she plans on getting answers and finding her parents...

I was born extremely healthy but I wasn't all normal.... many would say abnormal in appearance. after being sent off the doctor's and nurses placed me in a dark room alone, they've swapped me out for a child who supposedly was "normal" to them. ever since that exact day I was desperate for revenge. locked away in the asylum for 13 years, I became a common attraction I suppose you could call it, personally I found it a repeating nightmare. outsiders clocked in just to see me then clock out over and over till one day I finally had enough. planning to break out I left through my wards closed off window into the outside world alone. disguising myself amongst the commoners roaming the streets and alleyways searching for food and other supplies that could be of use. while searching I come across this building when I realized the horror's that lurked beneath its surface leaving me unprepared for the after math of destruction.
