The year is 2056. For 30 years now, every baby that is born is given a necklace, but with a catch. It's only half. The other half supposedly belongs to your soul mate, who could be anywhere in the world. 17 year old Willow Jackson didn't necessarily believe it, but she always hoped it was true. Her necklace was half a heart, like them all, but it had a constellation on it. The rule is that you are always supposed to wear it, even in the shower. Before her parents died, they always told her that when she was old enough, she should travel the world to find the other half, and the person who was supposed to be her soul mate. The necklace its self had a temperature. The closer you were to the person with the other half, that warmer it was, and consequently, the further away you were, the colder. When she finds him, he's very skeptical about the whole "soul mate" thing, but he goes along with it. He thinks that if nothing else, they could be close friends. Right?

My Alpha barged into my room and started speaking softly but very threateningly, "you didn't make dinner, Why is that? Do you want to die tonight. There is already fighting and we haven't got anything to distract him with!" And with that he was on top of me, beating me senseless. I screamed, hoping maybe this visiting Alpha was kind enough to help me. I heard footsteps and smelled a familiar smell. "Help!" Was all I wheezed out before blacking out. *I AM AWARE OF HOW SUCKISH THIS BOOK IS. IT WAS MY FIRST BOOK AND I'VE GOTTEN BETTER. I WILL NOT BE EDITING THIS BECAUSE I AM A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT WITH NO TIME ON HER HANDS.
