Tony wasn't always who he is today. Before "Iron Man." Before "Stark Industries." Before all that, he was a simpler man. He lived in New Jersey in a house on the beach. It wasn't a huge house, yet it wasn't too tiny. It was the perfect size for his family of four. Tony, and his wife, and his two children. All together. All healthy. All happy.  Nobody remembers those times anymore. Except for me. I remember them because I have to. They are the only memories I have with my father. Also Pietro didn't die, Asgard did not get blown up and Loki is an Avenger. He's still avoiding your question, so instead you ask "Why not?" "I could hurt you..." he says in a small, sad voice that breaks your heart. "Would you hurt me?" you ask. He frowns and almost immediately says "of course not" still very quietly. You give him a reassuring smile and say "Then I'm not worried." he finally looks up at you and gives you a small smile. - This was my first story so I'm sorry if the writing is not too good, I'll get better I promise.
