A story of misadventure. Charles Wilmore, bored, a little down on his luck and with plenty of time to spare, is tempted to take passage on a sailing trip across the North Sea. Unfortunately for Charles, the roguish ways of his acquaintance who owns the yacht begin to catch up with them as they reach the Thames, and events take a decidedly uncomfortable turn for the worse.
