Who Tells Her Story?

Little is known or remembered about her, the unfortunate eldest daughter of Alexander and Eliza Hamilton. Suffering a mental breakdown when her brother Philip was killed in a duel, Angelica Hamilton never recovered her mind. Instead, she lived her life trapped in the brain of a child. She was cared for as well as she could be by family members, but little was spoken of the poor mentally unstable woman whose body aged, but whose mind was trapped in time. No one ever knew what was happening inside her head- until the day she died.
In her final moments, Angelica is visited by her sister Elizabeth, who walks away from Angelica's deathbed with a valuable key into the mind of her sister: a notebook that Angelica has been writing in for years.
