A look through the loving eyes of the main character:
At the sound of wedding bells the apocalypse had begun. It was the beginning of the end, or as I saw it, a new beginning. My wife was as beautiful as ever, even after being bitten. She was.... changing. But that wasn't going to stop us from being happily married. It wasn't going to get in the way of our happily ever after. I mean, after all... till death do us part. Is it necessarily death if she's still walking?...
Notes to the reader:
This is a piece about a man in love who's newly wedded wife gets bitten by a zombie. She turns, but he loves her way too deeply to just let go. So he doesn't.
Welcome to what life is like, being married to a zombie corpse bride. :-)
I'd also like to include that this is a piece written by not only me, but also inspired by the combination mind of me and my significant other, Steven. He's a dime.<3 Anyway, yes, we are writing a book/piece together. There's plenty more where this came from. :-) Enjoy!

These beings as I announced only a moment ago, look exactly like a human, two way to tell if they are one or not, their attitude and their eyes. They don't have emotions, only hunger and let me tell you, they will go out of their way to eat you, they will speak but it will sound different... Deformed almost. The eyes are usually the first to become infected, they become slightly red at first, as time progresses so does the intensity of the color red in the eye. The color in their eyes they once possessed, will seem dull, it will seem as if they are unfocused or unfamiliar with their surroundings. That is all I can tell you for the moment Lexi, but know their are people waiting for your arrival, and we are waiting for you to end this suffering race." They said that "Changing is part of LIFE.", at least that's what the CSD (Change and Save Department) used to say. They thought they created a "cure". A cure to save many people's lives from sickness, cancer, and all. Unfortunately... They were wrong. It was fine at first... However, their first test subject? It was for no good. Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies". The CSD promised that they'll find a cure, but much-lost hope, lost hope for being alive, lost hope for survival. A 17 yrs. the old girl was in between that. Everything might sound and look horrible but she never lost hope for survival. "I'm running out of food.." she kept on talking to herself since there was no one but her. She saw a grocery store nearby so she checked it out if there were food, and fortunately, there was. She stuffed the food in her bag until she heard something. "Is someone there?" She asked, she hoped it wasn't what she thought about but there it was. The zombie's legs were twisted so it will have a hard time catching her. However, she never encountered that close. She stuffed the last food in her bag and ran. She ran to the girl's restroom. When she opened the door there were zombies! It almost caught her but fortunately, nothing happened to her. I gave up on this book sorry!!!! Prologue: The sky had always been a canvas of infinite shades; serene blues, fiery oranges, and dusky purples that whispered the passing of time. But tonight, it was an unforgiving black, thick and suffocating, as if the stars themselves had fled in terror. The wind, once a gentle lullaby, now carried with it the stench of decay, a bitter harbinger of the nightmare that had begun to unfold. It started as a whisper in the farthest corners of the earth, a murmur of sickness that no one paid much mind. A fever here, a violent cough there-symptoms too common to cause alarm. The news reports were fleeting, overshadowed by politics and celebrity scandals. But as the days turned into weeks, the whisper grew louder, more insistent. Hospitals overflowed, bodies piled up, and the once indifferent world began to notice. By then, it was too late. The first to rise were the ones who had died in fear, their final moments spent in frantic horror. The infection moved like wildfire, an unseen hand turning the once living into twisted mockeries of life. These creatures, driven by an insatiable hunger, spread chaos across the globe. Cities burned, governments crumbled, and humanity was brought to its knees. "I never made a commitment to you, or gave you any false hope, neither did i say that i love you. Did i?" He asked her, in a very cold tone. She looked at him through her teary eyes. It's getting difficult for her to even breathe. "It was your eyes, the damn eyes. Who gave me the false hope. They say, "Eyes speak the truth," but what about mine? Couldn't you feel the sincerity within them, expressing my deep affection for you? Why didn't you see the love shining in them? Was it too complex to understand? Couldn't you notice the warmth as they gazed at you? They search for you in every corner, If only you realized how they silently echoed the emotions I couldn't articulate. They say, "Eyes never deceive." But what about yours? They played a trick on me when they met mine, painting a facade of a world that wasn't real. They made me feel loved, Leading me into a belief that crumbled, louder than your spoken promises. Why did they betray me? Was it your eyes or you that masked the truth?"
