Isis Morningsong, an average teenage girl, is ready to start her new year as an alpha wolf (a.k.a. 8th grader) at Newhaven Middle School. However, when she finds out that only she can see the ghost of a murdered girl in the backstage auditorium, her life suddenly begins to change. Now she discovers that each of her friends, Daniel and Victory, have separate powers. Daniel is a werewolf with the strength to tear out trees from their roots. Victory is a immature brave girl with an amazing stamina. Isis has the power to see spirits and ghosts. Everything seems to be fine at first, but when she hears rumors of her History teacher being a murderer, tensions rise. With the help of her two friends, Isis must gather clues and solve the unsolved murder of Newhaven. . . before she becomes the next victim.
