"Whea ya headed?" he asked simply.
"Room 142, umm...Mrs. Stevens." I answered while looking down at the creased white paper. I tried to avoid looking directly at him, but from the tone of his voice, I assumed he was a decent looking guy.
"Well shit, I'm goin' dere too so I guess we can just walk togetha." he suggested.
"O-Oh okay. Th-that's fine." I stuttered, clutching my books closer to my chest. We walked silently down the hall and the whole time we were walking, all I could do was look down at my feet as they touched the floor. Left...right...left...right. I was so focused on my feet that I didn't realize that he had stopped walking and was standing in front of our destination.
