I always knew there was a story somewhere in my head, I just needed to chip away at everything inside of me to find it.  You can imagine how I felt when the concept finally came to me during a nap.  Of course, I would just have to get passed the first chapter, something I always found to be difficult.  However, this time, the words seemed to flow out of me and I realized I wasn't going to be stopping anytime soon.  The day I finished writing was one of the greatest days in my life.  What came afterward... not so much.

What happens once the book that has been so precious to you is finally finished?  Editing, rewrites, more editing, more rewrites.  All of this is now done.  What next?

Now we need to get it published.  Here we enter a world filled with rejection as literary agents and publishers analyze your work and decide based on blurbs, a few pages, or even a few chapters that they don't like your story enough to represent/publish it.  

How does one get through this kind of rejection?  This is a diary of sorts going over the rejections I receive, how I cope, and what keeps me going.  I hope that you find it inspiring to not give up.  Your acceptance is out there.  You just need to find it.All Rights Reserved

I had this idea last night after a few drinks, a pounding headache, and an excessive amount of throat lozenges. In order to inspire me to write more often than I currently do, I am planning to write a new post every day and publish it, allowing me to rant about whatever is on my mind. Anything goes with this story. Maybe I will talk about something deep and metaphysical about the meaning of human existence, or rant about why my life sucks and how I prefer iced tea over hot tea. Anything goes. This is just an inspiration to allow me to write SOMETHING every single day of the year. Hopefully I can keep up.... If I end up deleting this story, I guess you'll know that I failed. STARTED: January 1st, 2022. TECHNICALLY FINISHED: July 19th, 2022 "365 pt 2" has been started, and will have the rest of 2022. Wattpad has a limit of 200 chapters. Who knew?

I have decided to force myself to write every day. I've tried to start a novel countless times, so I have reached the conclusion that it's better to write short stories. I was looking for Short Story challenges to make it exiting, and I found one that I liked; writing one micro fiction story each day, it doesn't matter how many words it has or what it is about, but, I have to finish one every day. I decided this was the best moment to start, it being march of 2020, and me being in quarantine with nothing to do. This is why this book exists, each day I will write a piece of micro-fiction and post it in this book. I believe that I will get better through time if I follow this challenge. Some day I may decide to stop it, though hopefully it will be in a long time. I don't want them to give up on me. But they will, so it's good not to make them care for me in the first place. "I never needed anyone. I stopped needing anyone before, why start now?" I uttered the words again. Why? There is nothing to fight for. No mama. No papa. No sister to love me. No one. So why would I waste my life and the time of others to fix what is already broken - and someone who doesn't want to be fixed? If I may add. Maybe I gave up. No, scratch that. I gave up a long time ago - when my parents died, my hope and purpose went away with them.
