Family Reunion

A short story about a family dinner in the afterlife.

At the south side of the table, Tio Guadalupe, who died drunk riding a bull, toasts with his left hand as if he never let go in life of that drink he seemed to have had stuck in his hand, he used the right hand to hold the rein of his caballo. It's evident by his looks, he remained loaded after death; next to him, his inseparable compadre, Jaime, who died a year after him toreando the same bull is saying something to Lupe, as he used to call him.
