Annabeth is a normal girl living a normal life, except she's an orphan but she doesn't care. She's been living with mama Claire and her daughter Becky and Catherine since she was 9 months old. Mama Claire told Annabeth that her parents died in a car crash and Annabeth's moms friend sent her to the orphanage house when she got the news her parents died. She has a best friend named Emily. She's a friend that any girl would be lucky to have, but there's something Emily's hiding from Annabeth. And Emily's not the only one hiding something from Annabeth. Catherine is also hiding something from Annabeth. After escaping a bad relationship, Amelia Buckley was left with an overwhelming amount of emotions. She was scared, relieved, and alone all at once. She hadn't spoken to her parents in years and hadn't seen her brother or sister in a long time either. She got a job as a bar tender in a bar on the wrong side of the tracks in Boston, Massachusetts. She hated it, but it was the only place where she thought her ex wouldn't find her; but she was wrong. He broke into her apartment - that was above the bar - one night and assaulted her. The next day, she got a call from her brother asking her to join him in LA, and she said yes without hesitation. She never knew her biological father, and her mother, Lauren Volkov, abandoned her when she was young as well; nine, to be exact. She was born with a rare form of Congenital Insensitivity to Pain and was unable to feel physical pain, so she never complained about something as simple as a paper cut or a stubbed toe since her brain didn't register it. She was diagnosed with anxiety and bipolar I disorder around that time as well and that's when her life was going 'downhill'. Over the years, she was also diagnosed with parasomnia, ADHD, paranoid personality disorder, and acute stress disorder. Needless to say she had more prescriptions than she chose to mention to anyone except for the people that already knew, and even then, she didn't talk about her mental illnesses, which her friends understood and complied with. After her mother left her, Katherine and George Walter took her in, having basically watched her grow up since Katherine and Lauren had known each other for as long as anyone remembered...until she up and left her only daughter behind that is.
