Makoko's life has always been nice and simple swimming with this best friends Haruka, Nagisa and Rei and living with his family. But all of that changes when makoto's house catches fire and he and his family loses their lives
Haruka is heartbroken from losing his best friend but keeps living anyway
Once day when he is out for a walk he passes a younger kid and his mom, this kid seems very familiar to Haruka but ignores it.
Until he starts to head home until the kid and his mother are crossing the road and are about to get hit by a car, Haruka manages to save the kids live but not his mother.
Haruka is then in charge of taking care of the child until he can get a proper home.
The child still seems very familiar to Haruka, soon he finds out why.
