This story is about a girl named Ana. But it's not only about her. It depends on how you look at it. The same can be said about this story being fiction or non fiction. If you are the very littoral type, then this story will make no sense as you try to make sense of the physics of this world. But if you make it your business to understand things like this, than this might be closer to non fiction. But I've beat around the bush long enough. To put it simply, this story is about shape shifters.

Think you have it rough? Try coming home from school and finding out your father is dead, your foster sister and niece are interplanetary aliens, and so are you. So, it explains why you can change shape and talk to animals, but so can your twin brother, a feline who can fly, who you didn't know you had until he comes to take you to your birth planet so you can be heroes. Then find out that you are actually 100 years old, not 18, and the subject of an even older prophesy. Takes the "Merry" right out of Christmas break. So thinks Nikki Jessop, high school zero, who reluctantly turns into a hero of the Two Planets.
