Raelah Day is a bullied sophomore at her high school. Her only support comes from her best friend Zia, who is the only one who knows of her bullies, and expects nothing great or interesting to happen to her, let alone to fall in love. She also doesn't expect to find a troll boy at the beach one day. 16 (8 sweeps) year old Eridan Ampora is troll royalty from Alternia, and is a violet blooded seadweller who looks down on most landdwellers and can't fill a single quadrant.
