It's a fairly normal day for Talon. Well, as normal as it can be for a teenage girl living with her widowed mother in a rainy town. But all normality goes out the window on Talon's walk. Feathered creatures fall from the sky all over the world, pock-marking the earth with craters. Things only get weirder from there for Talon because this is just the beginning.
