The destroyer its not some ship although I almost wish it was this is not some fairy tale or some myth it happened and this is my story it was actually kinda sad, happy, ROMANTIC if you can say that but you should remember after all the war was pretty recent being in the year 2020 and all the world was in chaos after being ravaged with pestilance like Ebola and smallpox the governments met in a summit or rather those that remained it was decided to let the disease run its course about 3\4ths of the worlds population gone in the years of the plague between 2014 and 2018 about four years now it seems so far away so odd to think it was just 25 years ago but the same is to be said about the war of quarantine funny name seeing as the disease had died off and had no effect on the populous any more (because they where dead) but that was actually a war over who runs what remains of the world after the plague America surprisingly had almost no part to play ......almost .....and so we begin our story.

Three hundred years after the fall, the known world is beginning to regain a semblance of order, with the sword the ultimate power once more. But not everything of old was lost, and there are some that will exert deadly effort to obtain what was left behind. Orphaned, plague-marked and mistrusted by the community he lives in, a boy must come to terms with the fact that he is different from everyone else, but is soon the focus of unwelcome and deadly attention. Separated from her father, a young girl has to learn to survive in a foreign land haunted by tribes of ghosts and roving bands of piratical thralls to a sadistic King. A watcher keeps lonely vigil from within a fortress that has been under siege for hundreds of years, while a soldier dies for the twenty-third time, and dies again while wondering if he is going mad. First started in 2015, this story is at 50k+ words, but was removed when a plotting hiccup was encountered. I now intend to split it into three parts, and this is the complete Part 1. Part 2 will begin once I've finished editing another work... Please vote and comment, as your input will help shape the story. Enjoy!
