Justine is a 17 year old girl, living in the bad part of Detroit. She's physically and verbally abused by her moms boyfriend (no, her mom doesn't do anything about it, out of fear of being abused as well.) She's been planning on running away since she was 16. On her 17th birthday is when she decided to make her great escape. Justine battles with bipolar depression and an anxiety disorder, which will only make her plan to run away worse. Little did she know, she didn't have to do much running to get away.
