Cara...sweet precious Cara. Everyone's friend, always uplifting and encouraging, and just a kind soul. But after she left the community shattered and broken by her suicide, everyone seems lost without her. Where had they gone wrong? What could they have done? Nobody knows. Jorlyn is new in town, and she never knew Cara. But the scars left on the town of Copeland are obvious. After meeting Cara's brother and younger troubled sister, she starts wondering what she can do to help the town heal. None of Cara's friends who have been struggling, except for Cara's brother, seem to know God, so she starts there. She invites them to church, and some of them accept Christ. But Cara's sister is determined to shut Jorlyn down, claiming that Christianity is just a way to ignore reality. Despite Jorlyn's attempts to convince her otherwise, Cara's sister remains firm in her beliefs. Jorlyn desperately wants to reach out to her, but can she finally trust God enough to pull her through her struggles?
