Tessa Woods is an ordinary 17 year old girl..

..except for the fact that she happens to be human.

Confused?

Yeah, she was too when her grandmother broke it to her that although she was born into a werewolf family, she was, in fact, a completely mundane human girl.

No, she wasn't bullied for it. This isn't that kind of werewolf story. Everyone in her pack was really nice about it. Well, everyone except her said grandmother.

A strict Alpha of the Nightshade pack, her grandmother decreed that as Tessa would not fit into any of the usual roles in the pack, she would instead be the one to help others in finding their soulmates. In other words, Clara was to be the pack matchmaker.

At the ripe age of 13, Clara had to step into that role, while ironically enough, barely being old enough to understand the concept of love.

It has been five years since then, but she still wishes that werewolves *cough*her grandmother*cough* didn't have such long lifespans..
