Fifteen year-old Nevaeh has never lived a normal life. She has the ability to whisper to shadows. And they listen. These shadows have minds of their own. Some are even reckless enough to kill their humans. But Nevaeh can't stop this madness on her own. Soon she meets a boy named Ashten Lucason who seems to be hiding something. With shadows all around the world holding mischievous motives, it is up to Nevaeh and Ashten to stop them. For good.

She must find out what her gift is and use it for her purpose. But how? Why?
