When Bethany Hawks, a young girl who, for the first thirteen years of her life, only had to worry about what mark she would get on her next school exam. Little did she know that after one meeting, after one conversation, that her life would never be the same again. She is suddenly thrown into a world of gods and goddesses. After a tragic event, even staying alive is a battle. She starts to doubt if it's even worth trying to survive. After all, how was she supposed to live when Earths most dangerous enemy will not stop at anything until her dead body is lying at his feet?

Their siblings are given a prophecy, only to later realize that the prophecy wasn't really meant for them in the first place. The eight were the captured, not the satyrs, and now it's the thirteen demigods job to rescue their siblings from the torture that awaits them.
