Hiya,
BlueBird & RedBird has two main characters named Blue and Red. It's written in Blue's POV. Blue and Red both have wings, but since people "like them" aren't really supposed to exist, they got to hide 'em.
This story follows Blue and how she tries to understand her feelings for Red, and just what their relationship is. Aside from being a love story though, BlueBird & RedBird has a few twists that might be unexpected. Secrets and mysteries in their past are reluctantly revealed and they learn a terrifying truth that is linked to them both.
But I won't get ahead of myself, that won't happen until later. :)
So, to sum it up this story is a "romantic/cute/fantasy/mystery/simple-ish" kind of story.

Here's a bit of what's in store!::::
"Red?!" I squeal in astonishment.
"Hey, Blue." Red says with a lopsided grin. I open the window as far as it could go. "Don't act so surprised to see me. Did you think I just left and would never come back? Or, wait," Red squints his eyes at me. "Is it because you happened to miss me while I was gone?"
My jaw drops open and my face becomes red. "I, uh... No!" I yell out loud, all flustered. I look down and cover my face with my hands.
Red suddenly breaks out in laughter. "Geez, Blue. I was only joking; don't get all upset about it." He laughs again and ruffles the top of my blue hair. "Now, hurry up and get dressed so we can get outta here."
I close the window and curtains then walk over to my mirror. My cheeks are still a deep red color. I thought he was being serious when he asked me that. What would he have done if he knew it were true? That I really have missed him these last couple of days.
