On February 20th Phyllis Denver passed away in a hit-and-run car accident. Her dear family members came to put her in the grave. She was a young girl in her twenties and everyone mourned the dear girl's death. Something was strange, Phyllis who was in the grave could hear everybody crying but she was unable to move or speak. In that moment she can even distinguish the people she knows but... Some voices really seemed unfamiliar. One voice said "Here comes another one..." and another one added "These days young girls are dying frequently," To Phyllis one voice seemed annoying and another voice seemed sweet. After lying in that position for a day Phyllis suddenly opened her eyes and she was shocked to see herself confined in the coffin and to top that she had no clue who she was. At first horror took hold of her and then she realized even though she woke up she can't leave the coffin yet. She banged the coffin forcefully but there was no result, Slowly her breathing became heavy and she lost conscious. Next day she casually stretched herself, and then she was surprised to see her hands stretching out of coffin. Coming up to the ground she looked around in wonder and then she looked at the gravestone. On it was written: Phyllis Denver Beloved daughter of Ronald and Aria Denver. May she rest in peace. Seeing her parent's names some memories of her childhood came to her, that's when she realized who she was.

Mabel's boss dabbled in awfully questionable business for the owner of an herb store, and she never blinked when he had suspicious-looking visitors. On one particular Sunday, though, Mabel couldn't help but watch the man leaving Herman's office with a critical eye. It wasn't his impressive height, dark eyes, or shaggy hair that kept her curiosity piqued. Instead, it was the way the shadows seemed to collect around him, dancing under his feet as he walked and vanishing abruptly as soon as the door shut behind him. ***** "Do not call me 'Death,' Little One." He reached a hand down to help her up, but Mabel swatted it away, standing on her own and scowling. "Don't call me 'Little One,' Death." She fired back, crossing her arms and straightening her back to look taller. "And, besides, you're the one who told me your name was Death, so what else am I supposed to call you?" The raspy growl that rolled from his throat didn't sound anything like a chuckle, but the slight smile on his face told her otherwise. "Aleron." ****** He brings death to those deemed wicked, but sees her as an angel and vows that nothing will harm her under his watch.
