Loucel has been official since middle school, but when puberty hit, and Louis shot straight to the top of the highschool food chain, and Marcel plummeted to the bottom, Louis forced him into a fake break up.

From tht point on, Louis and his friends harrassed Marcel daily, contantly calling him names, tripping him in the halls, book checking him in the classrooms... whatever you could think of.

Marcel only deals with it because he loves Louis with all his heart, and he has always been convinced Louis felt the same.
