Long ago, a race of creatures called the Terra Terminus inhabited the world. They were created and chosen by the Divine to be His companions. Many tribes developed as offshoots from the original, due to difference of belief or practice of the Holy Orders, but the original strain of beings stayed a viable sector of society. Sadly, the Terra Terminus began to loose sight of the Divine's true intent, falling into habits of cruelty and further and further away from their creator.
