Love isn't as easy as it should be.

---

Sierra Burke is quiet, obedient, and the perfect daughter. Living with an autistic younger brother has made Sierra have both tough skin and a hard-to-crack outer shell. Her life is based off of simplicity and no surprises. However, while her family is camping at Lake Pomme De Terre, Sierra meets Cleo Adams, who manages to make her feel things that she didn't even know she could feel. For the first time in a long time, Sierra's wild spirit is sparked, and she can step out of her comfort zone. Soon, Sierra and Cleo's friendship begins to change and grow into something more. Cleo knows what she wants; Sierra isn't so sure. Can Sierra learn to accept and love herself? Can both girls deal with the consequences of being who they are? Can their love really withstand the trials ahead?

-Summer teen romance- Isla Nova Dawson has always been the type of girl to hang out amongst big crowds of people. She prefers the company of a few people where she feels the most confident in. She thrives lost in the crowd, where she can confidently make jokes and laugh heartily at others that may not be that funny. There's no surprise why Isla has become some of the popular type at school- she loves being known by others. Julian Hayes isn't a loner. No- far from it- he has a group of friends he plays baseball with and surf during the summer. He has family that he is known to hang out with. He just tends to stay away from big crowd of people where he doesn't feel comfortable in. Isla and her friends find themself at this opportunity of a lifetime. Finishing off her Junior year of high school, her school offers resources to go on a trip with teenagers like her. Travel for Teens isn't a new concept but it is for the small town of South Carolina. At this opportunity, the group of people jump at the chance to get out and do something new which will no doubt be fun. It was supposed to be fun for Julian as well but after plans abruptly change and thousands of dollars that cannot go to waste, he finds himself alone at the trip. Sure, he can go out and socialize with teenagers especially since they're ones from his school but he finds himself isolated from the group. The teens throw a big party at the house during the end of the trip. The small leads to a boring night at the end. The teens find themself playing little games to occupy time. "I dare you to kiss a guy you don't even know the name of," Isla was asked and soon she found herself kissing Julian. It shocks Julian to a pause, here he was sitting idly to a girl kissing him suddenly. Julian ponders on it, but then finds out that the kiss wasn't meant to be anything. But will the kiss turn out to be nothing if life throws the pair together on many counts? Or will two strangers keep it that way?

"Being mute isn't a disability. It just means that God loves you so much that He took away your voice so that you don't hurt others verbally. You see, He doesn't want you to do what others are doing to you." ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ When Sierra Bloom suffers a tragedy that costs her both her family and her voice, she shuts down every bit of emotion and passion within her and brings out a new and cold her that doesn't like being around people and things that are easy to get attached to. Enter David Hale. Cheerful, bright, friendly -a shocking contrast to her cold, closed off personality. Not only does David do things she dislikes, he also does not know when to give up on her. What is Sierra supposed to do when he keeps bringing out the old her and makes her forget the tragedy she caused? The answer is obvious; shut him out and run away. That's the solution.... right? ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ This book was written in 2013, back when I was still pretty much a kid. It hasn't been edited and there are many issues I find with it. I may or may not edit//re-write, but if I do I don't think I'll post it here. At least, for now. In any case, the person I was then is not the person I am now lmaoo but I'm still proud of younger me for this cute little thing. I love all my lovely, LOVELY readers who have sent me such beautiful messages about this book ♥ Thank you for loving my book, it means the world to me. ⌔ - 2023 Update ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ Achievements: General Fiction: #81 Romance: #186 Kisses: #4 ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ All Rights Reserved. "Cassie," Aaron says. "I have detention. For two hours." My mouth drops open. "Fuck me," I groan. "Sorry," he smirks. "But you're not my type." --------- Cassandra Parker isn't looking for male attention; she just wants to make it through her last year of high school at Hilltop High with her two friends, Gracie and Gabs. But when she makes a deal with her parents to wear more gender tailored clothes, she is officially placed on the radar of almost every male at her school, including Aaron Brewer's. Aaron Brewer is a player in almost every sense of the word, sleeping with girls and then dropping them the next morning. All that changes when he meets Cass, who doesn't fall at his feet like the other girls. They grow closer, sleeping--innocently--together, partaking in almost-kisses and a variety of other things, but when a secret is revealed to Cass by two of the most important people in her life, loyalties are tested and boundaries are crossed as a person from her past infiltrates her present and threatens her future. ~~~ *Not edited* -- also, i literally wrote this book when i was like. 15? finished it when I was like 16? and then never touched it again.
