The fire killed everything. It scorched the earth until there was nothing left. But the fire didn't kill humanity, some people did survive though I have no idea how they did so. But at the moment all I can care about is surviving through the summer, with the burning sun, the lack of water, and the little to no food.

During humanity's final stand against the encroaching darkness, a force unlike anything on Earth arrived. They were faster, stronger, and armed with technology fused into their very bodies. No one knows the moment the tide turned-only that the invaders struck first, erasing nations and their greatest defenders in a single sweep. Their purpose remains a mystery, but their name chills every survivor: the Scryvians. For humanity to endure, evolution itself must awaken. Yet only six teenagers carry the rare bloodlines capable of unlocking that change. The weight of the world rests on their untested shoulders. But even with power beyond imagining, can they stop the Scryvians... or will humanity's last hope become its final tragedy?
