I am the Curtis' little sister, Zaylee. I can be a trouble maker at times. I live with my three older brothers and I belong with them and their gang. I am different the others too. I have no friends and I pick fights at school.  I might be the youngest, but I get treated like all the others. Except for one boy, I have a close relationship with him. I call him my bestfriend, even if I have three brothers too. Everything seemed okay until the day someone got hurt too bad. How will the gang feel? How will they deal with this? How will Zay feel and how will she get through this life changing work. This is Zay's journey as a Greaser, in Tulsa Oklahoma and with my gang.

Her father went to prison, but prior to his arrest, he was abusive to the two kids. Peter then swore to never let anyone touch Elle ever again. Peter was the leader of the gang the Coyotes, thanks to Elle, but she still didn't belong to any gang. Not even her boyfriend's gang, the White Blades. Among the many gangs in Tulsa, the biggest one happens to be an Italian force. Their name is the Key Men, despite both men and women being in the gang. It is dangerous for Elle to not be in the Key Men because she does speak fluent Italian, and her brother may or may not be able to protect her forever like he promised. The Key Men want Elle Bovino because she has power and could influence the other girls. But many gangs want her for the same reason. Who knows, her life could domino effect downhill due to the one guy who promised her protection. Hell, she might not even marry the man she thought. Red is a FanFiction depicting gang violence, family, love, abuse, power, and the misogynistic views of the 60s through a love story involving our beloved Sodapop Curtis.

You started off where she was 7 years old, cute, fun to be around, listened and was the kid you always saw laughing. Now she is 14 years old and is pretty, kind, different then most and she's the best the guys could ask for. Zaylee is 14 and this her continuing story through love, fear, hope and faith.
