Writing tests and exams and always coming home with straight A's was nothing to write home about, so did being bullied by his immediate seniors mean nothing to him but when he discovers he is going to jump a grade he tries repair and build friendships as well as keep his grades up. This a short story about how Joseph Murphy wins his new class over.

bxb "do you want me to stop?" Leo says, making my entire body shake. I try and make some words come out of my mouth but nothing's happening. My breathing just gets faster. "Use your words Jonathan." he adds while simultaneously closing the door behind us.
