19-year-old Nadra Zaman awakes in the middle of the forest, writhing in pain and with no idea how she got there. Slowly, she starts to realize what's happening, though she is in heavy denial. The only person who can help her come to terms with her new life, is also the person who ruined it. Ikarus is charming and terrifying wrapped in to one, and he shows her a world she never thought could exist. But this new world is savage, and Nadra is horrified at what she's becoming. Will she drown in her own darkness-and Ikarus' charm-or will she learn to lead a normal life again?

Life could not have gotten more complicated for Willow and Moira. Willow was a university going student with her eyes set on the future. In her final year she found herself living with a group of students just off of the campus. They welcome her into their small, friendly family, but despite how much they care for her they can't let her know about their true natures. Soon Hunters arrive in the city, threatening Willow's friends and causing one of the Magical Courts to send their most dangerous asset to deal with them. Moira's arrival in the city is all but good news for anyone, Magical or mundane. While Willow is concerned about protecting her new family, Moira finds herself dealing with protecting the Magicals of Ottawa and deciding the fate of a Human who has been dragged into something far bigger than they ever could have expected. And who said fairy tales were all about whimsical fun?
