This is a Harry Potter Fanfic based on Ilvermorny, the American School.

Growing up, Alexei Ivanov was a pretty lucky kid. His family was one of the most prominent wizarding families in America, and his father was so very successful. At least, Alexei should feel lucky, but instead he feels like a misfit and out of place in the family tree.

Starting his first year at Ilvermorny, Alexei was expected to be placed into the house of Wampus like every other Ivanov. The Wampus seemed to know his oddity and rejects him. Upon being selected like no other student in history, Alexei is disowned by his father and stuck with a humongous burden that not even Harry Potter would have imagined carrying.

Along with Adelaide Chang, the daughter of Hogwarts' Cho Chang, Alexei discover the deep plot behind his 'gift'. The duo is hurled into the world of dark magic, with roots older than the Deathly Hallows themselves.
