The Best Friend: A Percy Jackson Fanfiction (Book 1)

Odette Johnson isn't normal; she's known that for years. For one thing, she's agoraphobic, which means that she's scared of crowds of people (well, people in general make her uneasy). She's also a little haphephobic, which means she's a little scared of touching people and people touching her, and glossophobic, which means she's scared of public speaking. Another thing is that she's adopted, although she only found that out five months ago. She transferred to Yancy Academy, a school for troubled kids, at the beginning of the school year, after an "incident" in her hometown of New Orleans. There she met Percy Jackson, Grover Underwood, and Jacklyn Winter(A/n: not from my other story) who all eventually became her best friends, after they got past her anxiety, of course. During a field trip towards the end of the year, she and Percy are on for the surprise of their lives.
Percy Jackson and the Olympian series belongs to Rick Riordan. This story follows the story line of the books, so the only things that belong to me are Odette Johnson, Jacklyn Winter, Serena Winter, and the small scenes where Odette is alone. Another thing, Jacklyn and Serena Winter are not from my original story A Psychic's Problem. While their personalities, names, looks, and past are the same, it is completely different. There are some slight differences, but they come in the later books. If there is anything I missed, please tell me.
