Chapter 1: "Its just the beginning"
The aching in my back didn't stop. A cold hand laid on my shoulder, sending me chills To the bone. I twirled around as I saw Owen. His blue eyes gazing at me as I study him. "let's get moving. We can no longer stay here." His voice deep but smooth and I wonder to myself how he does it. "okay but where?" I said. "Somewhere I'm sure that'll take us somewhere safe." He said so calmly. "Okay." I replied. We walked down many dark hallways, then Zac joined us. Zac's dark brown hair matching his wild green eyes that goes with his favorite green plaid shirt with pale brown shorts. They climbed the ladder that led to another dark tunnel and I followed. A glowing light just ahead of us. My palms go sweaty as we continued walking down the tunnel. There we are at the end of the tunnel. Right when Zac puts his left foot in the gleaming sunlight I screamed, "Stop! Are you sure this is the correct way?" I asked, in a worried voice. "I told you, we don't know but at least its leading us somewhere safe from the outer world." Owen said with a sigh at the end like I've asked too many questions just in one day.

"I don't believe it." a low inhumane voice whispered. I have to look up to meet his gaze. Is he a new bully? Haven't seen him before. "What is your name?" I tease tickling her. She gives me her scrunched up fake angry look but laughs when I give it back. The guy I'd run into was watching us smiling. I blush a little. "Sorry I'm Angelo, this is my sister Anise my brother is Andy. My parents forgot about the other twenty five letters in the alphabet when they named us."He laughed. I liked to make people laugh. They'd forget about any trouble if only for a few moments and that made me feel good to know they were a little lighter as they went on about their day. He held out his hand. "I'm Zachary." "Ooh A to Z in a new way. Cool." I shake his hand and it doesn't escape me how he holds it a second longer and trails his thumb over the back of my hand. Ooh he was flirting. I give my best flirty smile. He was hot, why not. "Maybe we could hang out find new ways to go from A to Z?" I flirt. I watch his tongue sneak out and lick his lips as his eyes skim over me. Remi has always loved the forest, the different sounds, smells, the way she could get lost in it and never have to go home to her non-existent parents. As we reached my hotel room door, Christian pressed me against it, bring his lips to mine again. I pulled away swiping my card to unlock the room door. I turned back to Christian's implored eye and smile innocently. "No, you can't come in" "Please?" he begged, using the full effects of his eyes on me. I shook my head weakly knowing that if he asked again, I would cave in. His eyes pierced through me, causing me to squirm under his gaze. Suddenly, the elevator opens as Madison walked out with Warren by her side. "I thought you'd be asleep by now" she says to me, thankfully pushing me into the room, breaking the intensity Christian created between us. "Good night Warren, good night Christian." Christian was still gazing at me when the door closed in his face. I quickly ran to open it as Madison jumped on my back causing me to fall to the floor. "What are you doing? get off me!" "Is everything okay in there?" I heard Warren's voice from the door "Fine" Madison called out, pinning me to the floor. Cheerleading is really doing her good. I need to work out more. "Stop being so desperate!" she whispers to me We looked up as the door opened. Mandy stood in the doorway as Liam, Warren, and Christian's confused eyes stared down at us. "Umm, yeah... Night" Mandy says as she entered the room, closing the door behind her. She looked down at us and begins to open her mouth. "Don't ask" I said, managing to push Madison off me.Complete

My mind scrambling to process what had happened as I felt rubble falling around me, surrounding me in darkness. I reached up, my arm stinging as I hit the hard wood table over me, which was keeping the rubble off me, miraculously. I wiped my forehead, sweat, and probably blood dripping down my arm and side of head as I reached for a nearby rock, trying to push on it, hoping that it might help me out of this disaster. "Mom? Betty?" I called, hoping for a response, only to get none. I didn't even get the slightest whimper from any of them. What the heck happened? "Mom?! Betty?!" I screamed this time, trying to push myself up onto my back, my leg killing me so much that I had to give up. I laid back down on the ground, placing my hand on the bottom of the table; anger, fear, confusion getting the best of me. I screamed as I banged my fists on the wood table. "MOM? BETTY?" Nothing. I was ready to bang on the wood again, but I flinched back when I heard the sound of moving rubble. Whoever it is was almost near where I was, and ... moving quickly. So, there's no possible way that it was a human. It would take hundreds do men to lift these boulders, but whoever this person is, is stronger than anyone I would kn- My thoughts froze as I watched something large wrap around the edges of the table, lifting it up; my eyes widening as I came face to face with the largest creature known to mankind. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it.
