Nixxi is in the middle of single-parenting her two beloved pups, Candy and Patch. The twins decide one day to wander off into the distance, where they meet the one and only Simba. He seems very careless and broken-hearted until later in the story he opens up to Nixxi about his past. The dark past brought up memories of the soon-to-be widowed Nixxi and her husband Bradly. Bradly, the father of two, sadly passed to a tumor in his lungs, suffocating him, and leaving behind his newly widowed and pregnant wife.
