I remember the morning of the fire I had an argument with my mom and dad about my grades then I walked out of the house without saying goodbye. It was a normal school day and I was walking home from school like normal but then I heard the sirens, I didn't think anything of them at the time but I kept walking closer to my house and the sirens kept getting louder and louder. Once I saw the house I froze, nothing could prepare me for the sight I was about to see. The flames were gigantic even with the large amounts of water they were pouring onto the flames didn't help a thing, they kept getting larger. I firefighter saw me standing there and started asking me questions, but I couldn't reply the only thing that was going through my brain was my parents. There was no way they could survive the fire if they were in there, they were gone.

When I was little, I was never healthy for a full day. When I would go to school, I would carry around an oxygen tank so that I could breathe properly. There was once where I had come close to death. At that time, my mother and father promised me that they wouldn't ever leave me. That is, until someone came in an murdered them while I was at school. When I was dropped off from the bus stop, I automatically knew something was wrong because my mother would always wait for me. When she wasn't there, I began to get worried. 'Had she forgotten?' Was the first thing I thought as I walked up the stairs and into my house. 'Mama? Papa?' I questioned walking into their room. As I made the first step in, I heard squishing under my feet as if the carpet was wet.
