After a lot of consideration, I've decided that the previous version of this story, as much as I'd written, anyway, was more of a foundation than a finished novel. The plot was shoddily connected, many of the parts I thought were good ended up serving the plot in no way, and it began to look more like a random jumble of chapters than a book. So, here we are, these realizations in mind and ready to revise. These are the steps I've taken so far. It's still the intended story of the original book, the same characters, the same motivations. The only one i'm focusing on is a little based on Jack and the beanstalk. However, I am and will try(ing) to practice in putting more chapters in preparation for book 12. Remember: I have done the first Cycle (seasons) out of order. The order I did them is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10A, 11, 10B(R), 6, 8, and 12. Next season will hopefully not be out of order... ok maybe except for 1. 14, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20. -Obviously, do not read these out of order... or... do whatever - I'm not your boss. I am attempting to make 8's and 6's scripts as if they are made in-order. If not, then Ima need some help in criticism. Or... just read them in order as how I published it. Also, Might do a Pim-related side story. Who's Pim? Ok buddy, go read books 4 and 5. - In exchange for more chapters for this book, I might be lowering the amount of words used to it, or they might be at least 1000, which is the normal word count for my books (hey, don't go peeking in book 3 just because it's way over that number). Jack, the main character, is sent to the national school for mages. As far as he knows he's nothing more than a mage with an above-average affinity for water magic. Until one of his teachers reveals he is destined to be ranked immortal, a mage with unbelievable strength. if by some chance you end up reading this and wonder why it seems like i forgot to edit some stuff at the end there, i didn't. there is plenty of things i still need to fix about this story, including the main characters' name, for this story to be good. but i realized no matter how hard i try i'll never be good at anything. so after spending countless hours writing this story it was either upload it somewhere or delete it. i still might who knows.
