Waking up on a bed of flowers having no recollection of my past is undeniably a bit worrying, being attacked by a flower out of nowhere is even worse, but being "abnormal" and having a different "soul" than what is usually seen is weirder. Ash has disrupted this timeline by her sudden appearance, her falling down instead of Frisk, and she decides she doesn't want to leave due to a certain monster. So, monsters and humans have been living together on the surface for quite a few years now... That's an accomplishment! No resets, no new timeline. Just a future continuing forward like everyone could have possibly hoped for. However, not everything is hopeful. You can't expect to live a life where everything is sunshine and rainbows.
